Coming Soon!!!

Eek! I’ve got another book coming out! My friend, Laura Reimer, who writes at Journey Onward, and I teamed up for a Christmas book. We combined our writing efforts and created a book of short stories to help you get into the Christmas spirit. Journey Onward and Chuckles in the Chaos have collided to bring you Journey through the Christmas Chaos – A Collection of Short Stories.  It’ll be released next week! Double eek!

Laura and I met at a writer’s conference in 2017, and our friendship grew as we supported each other in our different but similar writing endeavors. We have spent countless hours sending Marco Polos back and forth – often having coffee in our robes with our readers perched on our noses or in the car dashing to take care of grandkids or other family. Even though Laura lives in the Midwest and I in the South, our lives have become entwined throughout the years. Laura, her husband, son, and grandson have stayed in my home, I’ve rescued her daughter after a missed flight and I’ve tried to tell her Aggies don’t like Longhorns when she sends me pics of her wearing the rival team’s colors. We attended a retreat in Colorado after the pandemic let up, so she met my parents, and I met her friends. We have prayed for each other, our husbands, kids, and grandkids.

Last year, I suggested we combine forces and write a Christmas book based on some of our blog posts. She loved the idea – and then life happened for both of us. I said the same thing this year, and then life happened again, but… We put our blonde heads together, and through many Marco Polos, emails back and forth, and numerous texts, we did it!

November 15th is the official release date so that you can get it in plenty of time for Christmas! We kept it short and sweet so you can sit down with a warm cup of cocoa or coffee and laugh with us while we tell you stories to encourage you and remind you of the importance of the Christmas season.
