I have a friend whose faith is very solid. She prays with her four kids every morning, is involved with many activities at church, reads her Bible regularly and has an active prayer life. Road Trip and Limp Hair
This summer, I loaded my suburban - my suburban with 220,000 miles on it – for a fifteen hour drive to Colorado. At 10:30 in the morning, one of my daughters' friends arrived at our house and added her bags to our pile before starting the actual loading process. Pedaling With a Chihuahua On My Foot
A few months ago, I had fifteen small stitches taking out of my shin after having a minor surgical procedure to remove my very gross – I mean, my varicose - veins. Between the vein surgery and the fact that it has been hotter than Hades, I haven’t ridden my bike in about four months. With a very faint hint of fall in the air, tonight seemed like a good night to get back in the saddle – the bike saddle.
