I was born in Texas but when I was ten years old, my parents moved our family of 6 (8 if you count the dogs) to the far away land of Boise, Idaho. Though I loved the experiences I was able to have due to living in the mountains, I hated the cold ~ so when I graduated from high school, I migrated back to Texas. While attending Texas A&M University, I met an amazing man that was the perfect match for me. (I think my dad put it this way, “Finally, she’s found someone that can match her word for word.” I was a talkative extrovert in a family of introverts.) We married the week after I graduated college.
We were two kids that liked the same things and loved each other. Thank goodness we didn’t know the road we would walk down. We just started walking – together. Now, we have three grown daughters, a son in heaven and a granddaughter. Oh, and two dogs. We can only credit the Lord for getting us where we are today. I grew up in a home where Christ was the center. My husband did not. But we committed to seek the Lord for our lives and try to live according to His Word.
